These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and your purchase of products from Frontier Parts NZ. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who you are contracting with

These Terms are between you and Built Supply Co Limited, a New Zealand registered limited company (NZBN 9429053798558, company number 9442949) of 40 Iwa Street, Mapua, Tasman 7005, New Zealand, trading as Frontier Parts NZ. In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Built Supply Co Limited. "You" and "your" mean the purchaser or website user.

2. How we supply products

We are an online retailer. We do not hold stock, we are not a manufacturer, and we are not an authorised dealer for the brands whose parts we list. We list parts supplied by established supply partners in New Zealand and overseas, and when you place an order we source that item and have it shipped to you. Manufacturer names, model names and part numbers on this site are used to identify fitment and compatibility only.

3. Eligibility

By using this website you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. Products

We aim to provide accurate descriptions, specifications, photographs and pricing. Colours may vary depending on your screen, images may be for illustration only, manufacturers may change specifications without notice, and some products may differ slightly from images shown. We may correct errors or inaccuracies.

5. Pricing

All prices are displayed in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include shipping within New Zealand. Prices may change without notice. If a pricing error occurs we may cancel the order, contact you with the correct price, or refund you if payment has already been made. We will not dispatch at a corrected price without your agreement.

6. Orders

Submitting an order does not automatically create a binding contract. An order is accepted once payment has been authorised and the order has been processed for dispatch. We may refuse or cancel an order, in which case we refund you in full.

7. Payment

We accept the secure payment methods shown at checkout. Payment must be received before goods are dispatched.

8. Shipping and delivery

We ship within New Zealand only. We do not ship overseas. Sourcing and delivery estimates are set out in our Shipping Policy and are estimates, not guarantees. Delays caused by freight companies, weather, supplier delays or public holidays are outside our control, and where an item will take materially longer than the estimate we will contact you and offer a full refund. Risk passes to you once goods have been delivered to the delivery address.

10. Your rights under New Zealand law

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. Where you buy as a consumer, those rights apply in addition to anything stated here and cannot be contracted out of. Note that under section 2(1) of the Consumer Guarantees Act, goods acquired in trade for the purpose of resupply, for consumption in a process of production or manufacture, or for repairing or treating other goods or fixtures on land in trade, are not acquired by a "consumer" and that Act does not apply to them.

11. Warranties

Manufacturer warranties remain the responsibility of the manufacturer unless otherwise stated. Where applicable we will help you with a warranty claim. Damage caused by misuse, abuse, incorrect installation, modification, racing or competition use where prohibited, or normal wear and tear may not be covered.

12. Product compatibility

You are responsible for confirming that a product is suitable before purchase. Where vehicle or equipment compatibility is listed it should be used as a guide only, and we recommend confirming fitment against manufacturer specifications before installation.

13. Professional installation

Some products should only be installed by a qualified technician. We accept no responsibility for damage resulting from incorrect installation or improper use.

14. Website availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the website. Maintenance, technical issues or third-party service interruptions may occasionally affect availability.

15. Intellectual property

Website content including logos, photographs, graphics, original descriptions, software and branding remains the property of Built Supply Co Limited or its licensors. No content may be copied without written permission.

16. Prohibited use

You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with website security, upload malicious software, scrape website content without permission, use automated purchasing systems without approval, or commit fraud or unlawful activity.

17. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to section 10 above, we are not liable for indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of profits, business interruption, loss arising from misuse of products, installation errors, or delays beyond our control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where that exclusion is prohibited by New Zealand law.

18. Privacy

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is written to comply with the Privacy Act 2020.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version is always available on this website and the date at the top shows when it was last changed.

20. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
