Built Supply Co Limited (NZBN 9429053798558), trading as Frontier Parts NZ, operates this store. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and store personal information, and is written to comply with the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand).

What we collect

When you browse, order or contact us we may collect your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery address, order history, payment confirmation details, and technical information such as your IP address, device type, browser and the pages you visit. We never see or store your full card number. Card details are handled directly by our payment providers.

Why we collect it

We use your personal information to process and deliver your orders, take payment, provide customer support, handle returns and refunds, meet our legal and tax obligations, prevent fraud, and improve the store. We only use it for the purpose it was collected for, or a directly related purpose.

Marketing

We only send marketing email if you have opted in. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can email info@frontierparts.nz to opt out at any time. Order confirmations and delivery updates are not marketing and will still be sent.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where it is necessary, with Shopify (our store and checkout platform), our payment providers, the supply partners and couriers who fulfil and deliver your order, and our accountant. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We may disclose information where required by New Zealand law or to protect our legal rights.

Information sent overseas

Our store is hosted by Shopify and some of our supply partners and service providers are located outside New Zealand. Where we send personal information overseas we comply with Information Privacy Principle 12 of the Privacy Act 2020, and only do so where the receiving party is subject to comparable safeguards.

Storage and security

Your information is held on Shopify's secured servers. We keep order and tax records for at least 7 years to meet New Zealand tax requirements, then delete or de-identify them. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Cookies

This site uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences and understand how the store is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the store may stop working if you do.

Access and correction

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, and to ask us to correct anything that is wrong. Email info@frontierparts.nz and we will respond within 20 working days.

Complaints
